Young Conaway is proud of its rich history, with many former partners having served as members of the state and federal judiciary or in public office as Delaware’s Attorney General, Insurance Commissioner or a member of the State legislature. Others have moved on to prominent corporate counsel positions. In addition, our attorneys have held positions of distinction throughout a myriad of law-related organizations, frequently chairing committees designed to improve the practice of law and increase the international image and reputation of Delaware’s practitioners and courts.

The 2006-2007 edition of Chambers USA, ranked Young Conaway a leader in 7 practice areas and recognized 17 individual attorneys as leaders in their respective fields. The firm ranked first in Delaware for its Bankruptcy/Restructuring, Employment, Real Estate and Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use practices. The Chancery, Corporate/M&A and Intellectual Property practice areas were also ranked among the top firms in the state.
